Summary

m If a number is multiplied two times by itself is called cubed number.
m A cube is equal to a number raised to power 3.
m In order to check whether a number is a perfect cube or not, we find its prime factors and group together
triplets of the same prime factors.
m We can estimate cube root by following the table and some simple steps mentioned in this chapter.
m There are some patterns which involve cubic numbers as:
                                                                3
                                                           3
                                                          2 - 1 = + ´ ´1 2 1 3
                                                           3
                                                                3
                                                          3 - 2 = + ´ ´1 3 2 3
                                                                3
