Before, After, Between
Before means the thing that is one less, previous to it or in
front of it.
After means the thing that comes afterwards, or next to it or
we can say that behind it or one more.
Between means the thing that comes in between the two
things, i.e. which comes in the middle of any two.
Sunday Monday Tuesday
Sunday comes before Monday. Tuesday comes after Monday.
Monday comes in between Sunday and Tuesday.
Before is 1 less than the given number.
After is 1 more than the given number.
This is line of numbers from 0 to 9. We call it number line .

3 comes before 4 5 comes after 4
4 comes in between 3 and 5
The number line shows us the number before or after the given
number. Looking at the above number line, we can say that :
3 comes before 4 8 comes after 7 6 is between 5 and 7
What comes before :

What comes after :
2 5 7 6
What comes in between :
2 4 3 5 7 9
