Ten thousand ten 10010
Ten thousand one hundred 10100
Eleven thousand 11000
Fifty thousand 50000
Ninety-Nine thousand nine hundred ninety-nine 99999
All these are 5-digit numbers.

Forming 5-Digit Numbers
Numbers with 5-digits and more are divided into two groups. These groups are
called periods in the place value system. They help in reading and writing large
numbers.
In a 5-digit number, we have two periods. THOUSANDS and ONES.
ONES period has three places Hundreds, Tens and Ones.
We start from the right hand side and group 3 digits. We leave a thin space or
use a comma and then write the remaining digits.
