4-digit Numbers on Abacus
We know that an abacus is a tool with spikes, which
is used to represent numbers.
To show a four-digit number we need an abacus with four spikes. The first
spike four right represents ones, the second spike represent tens, the third
spike represent hundreds and the fourth spike represent, thousand.
Look at the abacus below :
Remember
If there is no beed on any spike,
than value of that spike is ‘O’.
